【简介】
赵玉兰，北京大学和柏林自由大学联合培养博士，现为中国人民大学马克思主义学院教授，博士生导师，马克思主义基本原理教研部主任，教育部青年长江学者，中国人民大学杰出学者计划青年学者A岗入选者。先后主持国家社科基金项目2项，教育部人文社科基金项目1项，北京市社科基金重点项目1项，中国人民大学科研基金项目多项，在《中国社会科学》《光明日报》《哲学研究》《马克思主义研究》《教学与研究》《北京大学学报(哲社版)》《马克思主义与现实》等报刊发表论文近50篇，相关成果多次被《中国社会科学文摘》和人大报刊复印资料《哲学原理》《马克思列宁主义研究》等转载。另外，在英国著名左翼刊物Critique-Journal of Socialist Theory和德国著名马克思主义刊物Beitraege zur Marx-Engels-Forschung Neue Folge等发表外文文章4篇。2016年受聘首批北京高校思想政治理论课特级教师；2016-2017年为芝加哥大学访问学者；2019年荣获首届全国思想政治理论课教学展示活动一等奖。

Curriculum Vitae of Prof. Yulan Zhao
Prof. Yulan Zhao was born in Nov. 1977. In Sept. 1996 she entered Inner Mongolia University (IMU) at Huhhot, majoring in Philosophy. In Sept. 2000, after receiving the Bachelor degree at IMU, she entered Peking University (PKU) at Beijing, majoring in western philosophy under the supervision of Prof. Dunhua Zhao. In July 2003, she received master degree in western philosophy and began to teach as assistant professor at Department of Philosophy of IMU. In Sept. 2006, she returned to PKU, majoring in Marxist philosophy under the supervision of Prof. Dong Wang. From Sept. 2008 to Sept. 2010, she received the Chinese government scholarship and studied as exchange student at Freie Universität Berlin under the supervision of Prof. Frieder Otto Wolf. In July 2011, she received Doctor degree in Philosophy at PKU. Since Aug. 2011 she teaches at the School of Marxism Studies of Renmin University of China (RUC). At present, she works as professor in Marxist philosophy and history of Marxism at RUC.
Prof. Zhao focuses on the textual and bibliographical researches on Marx, especially on the studies of the first and second editions of Marx-Engels-Gesamtausgabe (Marx/Engels Complete Works in original languages), i.e. MEGA1 and MEGA2. Her first monograph is published in 2013 by China Social Sciences Press, titled “From MEGA1 to MEGA2 – the History of Marx-Engels-Gesamtausgabe”, which is the first work on the editing history of MEGA in China. In 2019, her second book Marxist Textual Studies under the Perspective of MEGA was published by People’s Press. In addition, Prof. Zhao has published nearly 50 academic articles in famous Chinese journals such as Social Sciences in China, Philosophical Researches, Studies on Marxism, etc. She has also published several English articles in some internationally prestigious journals, such as “The Historical Birth of the First Historical-critical Edition of Marx-Engels-Gesamtausgabe” in three volumes of the Scottish Journal Critique-Journal of Socialist Theory, the English article on “MEGA2 in China” published in the famous German Marxist Journal Beiträge zur Marx-Engels-Forschung. Neue Folge 2014-2015 (Argument Verlag, 2016).
Prof. Zhao has completed two important research projects, one is “A Comprehensive Research on David Ryazanov”, supported by Humanities and Social Science Fund of Ministry of Education of China (12CZX001), the other is “The Comparative Studies of MEGA1 and MEGA2”, supported by National Social Science Fund of China (12YJC720060). Now she is responsible for two projects, one is concerning the Dissemination, Translation and Studies of the First Edition of Marx/Engels Literary legacy, supported by National Social Science Fund of China (20BZX005), the other is on the Studies of The German Ideology in the second MEGA Edition, supported by Beijing Social Science Fund (18ZXA001).
Prof. Zhao is proficient in English, and she has served as the interpreter for many English and German lectures delivered by famous scholars such as David MacLellan (Britain), David Harvey (USA), Michael Quante (Germany),Terrell Carver (UK), Norman Levine (US), Tom Rockmore (USA), Sean Sayers (UK), Rolf Hecker (Germany), Marien van der Heijden (Netherlands), Kenji Mori (Japan), Marec Hrubec (Czech), etc.
